Banners

General Info

All of our banners are custom made to your specifications. We are able to do any size banner, in a variety of materials, to be chosen based on your application. Our standard is a 13 oz. vinyl banner material, though if your banner is only needed for temporary use a slightly less expensive option is available in either an 8 oz. or 10 oz. material. We have 16 different colors of banner material available, and almost limitless possibilities for the vinyl graphics & lettering.

We will also be able to custom tailor your banner for your specific needs, including mounting options. Standard, every banner includes brass grommets at each corner and every two feet along the width. We are also able to create your banner with sewn on Velcro, 'O' or 'D' rings, snap hooks, reinforced corners (extends the life of any banner, adds increased durability) and sewn in webbing for extra strength and rigidity on sides of any banner.

Some sign shops will cut 'wind flaps' into their banners, with the idea of letting the wind pass through without putting stress on the mounting points. We don't do this, as the flaps invariably become the point of failure. Not only that, but having flaps cut in your banner make it much more illegible, and the result does not look nearly as professional. Proper mounting will ensure that your banner will be able to withstand winds. A proper way to mount a banner between posts is to use a bungee cord at each corner, allowing the banner to flex with the wind.

Caring For Your Banner

UV rays from direct sun will fade your banner through the years faster than if it is in shade through part or all of the day. Keeping your banner clean will also help reduce any damage that might occur from dirt and natural pollutants. A gentle dish soap or even plain water is all that is needed to clean your vinyl banner.

Mounting it against a wall or solid fence will increase the lifespan of your banner as it will not have to withstand any wind, and if it is under an overhang, it is also protected from direct sun and rain.

Banners can be easily rolled up and stored when not in use. We recommend loosely rolling them up with the vinyl lettering to the outside, and simply securing it with a piece of masking tape. Folding your banner will create creases in the lettering and banner itself.

These simple tips for caring for your banner will help to ensure a long life and reduce the cost of having replacement banners made.
